Heavy with rhythm and fan spirit, the concerts were definitely the place to grab a seat and check out the latest songs from what fan group 5XL and esteemed Guest of Honor Mari Iijima had to offer. 5XL, a local tight-knit group of anime fans with dreams of love and peace and everything musical, has quickly paved the way towards giving the fans alternative live versions of their favorite anime and Japanese rock songs. In another schedule, Mari Iijima gave two concerts featuring her a fabulous mix of her newest songs, her coolest songs from her last album, and of course, the all-time perennial favorite Macross songs. In a closing speech, Mari thanked her fans for all their ongoing support and welcomed the uniqueness of her position in the musical industry as a blessing that makes her stand out in the grand spotlight she definitely deserves.
