The Video Gaming Room held a consistent crowd featuring small tournaments and a wide array of the latest and greatest hits for Sega Dreamcast, Sony Playstation and Playstation 2, and Nintendo64 donated by SugoiCon staffers and attending fans.  Tournament games featured: Marvel vs. Capcom 2, Capcom vs. SNK, Dance Dance Revolution, Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo, and Armored Core: Master of Arena.  Free time games featured: Virtual On, Soul Caliber, Crazy Taxi, Gundam Char's Counterattack, King of Fighters 2000, and much more.
Above and below: Dance Dance Revolution is taking over the country by storm with pulsating lights and addictive songs to hum and groove your active body to.  Shown here is SugoiCon's DDR tournament with singles and pairs sweatin' to the oldies and 90's pop-dance and encouraging many folks to try it out.  Some DDR songs played: Captain Jack, Mr. Wonderful, Falling in Love, Flashdance Whatta Feeling, Luv To Me, Boom Boom Dollar, Butterfly, and many more.  How fast can your feet move?
Above and below: Populated by groups of attendees yearning for an active convention nightlife, the SugoiCon Dance and Karaoke sessions were a great success!  The Dance sucked in mostly female fans with songs ranging from anime shows to popular J-Pop and J-Rock albums.
Above and below: The Karaoke offered plenty of opportunity to practice those vocal chords and belt out a few notes to your favorite anime or J-Pop songs.  And if you couldn't do it alone, you could do it with friends and a line dance!
