AX2000 offered a huge four-day weekend variety of panels galore featuring many esteemed Guests of Honor, noted fans, and industry representatives from as far as Japan all heading healthy discussions on various exciting anime and manga-related topics ranging from new shows, fan activities, industry follow-ups, historical perspectives, and other forms of fan entertainment lasting well into the night. Packed full of attendees, every single panel or activity offered something to learn from, whether you were into the discussion subject or not, as shown below with a brief description of each session.

The Escaflowne panel where moderators Egan Loo and Bandai Entertainment's Ken Iyadomi showed fans a detailed timeline and character map of the TV series as well as discussed vast visual and technological differences with the new Escaflowne Movie.	Anime Online panel where moderator Megazone (rec.arts.anime) helped aspiring fans learn about what it takes to develop quality webpages for news and fan information. Anime Fan-fiction panel where moderator Megazone helped current fan writers clue in on inspiring views offered from the panelists that frequently post on rec.arts.anime.creative.

Sera Myu panel moderated by mother and daughter fan team Emi and young AX cosplayer winner Sara. What is Sera Myu and why is it so popular? Sera Myu is "Sailor Moon Live-Action Musicals" and remains popular because of its flashy and exciting shows involving complex dance performances and romantic themes many Sailor Moon fans admire.

Yaoi 801 panel where panelists and fans participated together in announcing their secret love for all the beautiful men in anime and manga followed by all the qualities of their unique personalities and characteristics that many female (and male) fans adore.	Mechanized Propulsion Systems panel moderated by Otto Cargill (Public Relations Manager) conjured up memories of mad scientists calmly announcing plans, roadmaps, experimental displays, facts and figures on paper, and budgets to build a giant robot that would essentially... rule the world and make some money.
