Katsucon 9 cast a bright
spotlight for 2003 with a huge turnout of Guests of Honor from Japan and North America as well
as a much larger turnout of excited fans. With lots of special events just around the
corner, it was hard to find time to hunker down and find time to see the Dealers Hall

The Katsucon 9
Cosplay Competition night pumped up the music and got the fans all excited about another
amazing night full of cool cosplay craftsmanship displays and a deluge of stage acts.
Characters in the competition included characters from Vampire Hunter D, Pac Man, Ranma 1/2, Angel Sanctuary, X the Movie, Sailor Moon,
Evangelion, Utena, Chobits, Hellsing, Mortal Kombat, Inuyasha, Digimon, Final Fantasy 9,
Malice Mizer, Gundam Wing, Final Fantasy 6, Tokyo Mew Mew, Fancy Lala, Fruits Basket, I'm
