Welcome to this special edition of Linus
Lam Network News! This news report covers our trip to Anime Expo 98 in Anaheim,
California over Independence Day weekend of July 3rd-5th, 1998. Held in the huge
hotel complex of the Anaheim Hilton and Towers and Anaheim Convention Center, AX98 packed
in an astounding number of events all dedicated to promoting anime for the international
audience. With record-breaking numbers of attendees and dealers from around the
globe, this was definitely the hot spot to be! In this report, we'll cover a broad
spectrum of the major events, people, and things to see with lots of text and photos.
