Panels and Workshops 9

Model Kits with Kotobukiya: Representatives from this hot modeling studio gave tons of advice on designing and building resin kits, polystyrene kits, working with pins and shafts when assembling joints, using proper supports for figurines, and dealing with oily residues left behind after applying paints and unwrapping packages.  Kotobukiya's research in the American modeling market also found that for many avid modelers, the same essential model building materials commonly bought in Japan like name-brand cements and thinners are hard to find in America, which leaves a lot of expandable creativity inaccessible unless the market opens further.  A special highlight featured a demonstration on building a stylish resin kit.
Gonzo Studio: Representatives from Gonzo spoke about plans for the future including details on upcoming production designs for "Gravion", a new project involving Masami Ohbari (Fatal Fury character designer) and Makoto Uno (Love Hina character designer).  Special features for the audience included a sneak preview at the main characters sexy vixen Mizuki "Eyehawk" Tachibana and cute crew member Lyle.
Saturday Game Show: Hosted by the RAGE, final rounds of elimination and even more grand prizes to award to lucky winners dominated a full hour as scores of even harder questions from various popular and obscure anime racked many contestant brains for a winning answer.  Think you got what it takes to win?  Maybe you can try next year!  Shoujo Discussion: Hosted by Alex Lau and friends, discussion involved plot and character attributes that makes a shoujo show particularly unique and exciting.  Examples of shows were shown including Mahotsuko Sally, Idol Tenshi Yokoso Yoko, Goldfish, Minky Momo, My Mama's a Fourth Grader, Miracle Girls, Red Riding Hood Cha-cha, and Marmalade Boy.
