Con
Stories from Hell: Joined by a few other buddies with horrors stories to share, Neil
Nadelman and Scott Frazier gave a quick recap of the year's best and worst anime convention
trips, real or surreal: dealing with Otakon security, ultimate drunken con parties gone
bananas at AX and Anime Central, cross-dressing as Princess of Canada in a state where it's
illegal, mixing Haggus and Vodka into a Haggatini (Cory's story) at Anime USA, body-surfing
otakus in the floods during Otakon's hydrant explosions, Amanda Winn Lee's flashing the
audience and dropping Steve Bennett's shorts at Anime Central, lost hotel reservations, and
countless other things that brings the insanity out in all of us.

Lame
Anime: Dave Merrill and Neil Nadelman went back in time to those awful years we all try
to forget when believe it or not, some anime was downright lame. Highlights noted and
quickly forgotten: King Arthur football uniforms in a mecha show, bad acting in Magnos,
buddy mergers, Fantastic Adventures of Yohko, Fandora, bad colloquial translations, culture
shock, and lots more horror. If not for humor, then at least for a reality check, and
a great panel definitely not to be missed.

Additional Panels held throughout the weekend:
Grumpy Old Anime Fans, Robotech 15th Anniversary, Scott Frazier on the Ropes, Obscure Anime,
Inking, Fanfic and the Written World of Imagination MKII
