Packing in the attendees, every panel offered something to learn from, whether you were into the discussion subject or not, as shown below with a brief description of each session.  This weekend's explorations delved straight into the heart of current fandom that lies in the surging excitement of fan fiction, cosplay, collectors gatherings, as well as new and exciting anime shows, video games, and manga to focus on for the next year.

Fanfiction: Crazy about the latest fan stories but want to make your own?  Panelists talked about subscribing to fanfic author mailing lists and experienced contacts, different styles of writing, art communities, rules for writing proper fanfics, the dangers of fanfic crossovers, and keeping with the basic story elements.
Cel Collecting: Fans of anime cels shared their knowledge with the audience as discussion included proper care of cels, auctions, cel communities to chat about your collections, stories of how people got their coveted items, trips to shops and to Japan, as well as the increasing awareness of how rare cels are starting to become with the advent of digital animation.


DVD Production: Interested attendees in the anime music video realm were very much interested in the how-to of authoring their own projects.  Topics delved into a wide assortment of software and hardware players, recorders, special equipment from brand names like Sony, Toshiba, and Panasonic, compression algorithms, compatibility, DVD pressing, and online forums to chat in.
Philosophy of Anime: Such is the ongoing exploration into the hearts and minds of the anime creators.  Panelists used shows like Spirited Away, Evangelion and Gunbuster as examples to talk about a galaxy as a living organism, science vs. morals, the ethics of life and death, fact and fiction, cartoon violence, religions, mythology, and other such spiritual inspirations.
