Packing in the attendees, every panel offered something to learn from, whether you were into the discussion subject or not, as shown below with a brief description of each session.  This weekend's explorations delved straight into the heart of current fandom that lies in the surging excitement of fan fiction, cosplay, collectors gatherings, as well as new and exciting anime shows, video games, and manga to focus on for the next year.

Spot the Pirates: Aarr, Matey, there be pirated goods wandering around, but how do you spot them?  Panelists provided education on being able to identify knockoff and counterfeit cds, DVDs, garage kits, keychains, and artbooks by visual quality, authenticity stickers, or simply by publisher alone, like SM Records.


Cheap Disposable Comics: Shainidle Minuk, Dan Baker, Ed Hill, Dave Merrill, and Bruce Lewis are setting off on a new venture to explore the realms of comic albums for the fans, concentrating on independent publishing and compilations of works from the American realm.
Costume Construction: From Liquid latex to furry fabrics, costume construction can conjure up memories of sewing machine hell, but experienced cosplay artists saved the day with discussion about proper use of makeup, shopping resources, taking care of costumes, body paint, and other such cosplay-related accessories to fabricate your own masterpiece.
J-Rock: The panelists had the audience captivated with an increasing wealth of J-Rock resources to dive into as discussion involved videos, albums, and fansites dedicated to Gackt, Luna Sea, Dir en Gray, Malice Mizer, and many more.  Topics also included music debut TV shows like Hey Hey Hey and Music Cocktail, cool new merchandise, more online fan groups, fan fictions, and much more.
