Packing in the attendees, every panel offered something to learn from, whether you were into the discussion subject or not, as shown below with a brief description of each session.  This weekend's explorations delved straight into the heart of current fandom that lies in the surging excitement of fan fiction, cosplay, collectors gatherings, as well as new and exciting anime shows, video games, and manga to focus on for the next year.

Costuming 102: The experts of costuming returned again for another round of cosplay tips and tricks to create, design, and improve the process of cosplay for anime conventions for all newcomers and experienced folks.  Topics included use of headdresses, handling large costumes, jewelry, feathers, wire harnesses, advanced wig designs, back supports for large armor, online stores, spirit gum and remover, and sewing resources.


Cel Swap Meet: Avid collectors got together to talk about their cool trips around town to grab the greatest cel scenes from Escaflowne, El Hazard, Lodoss War, Fushigi Yugi, and much more.
Fan Art Panel: Artists discussed seeing anime for the first time and learning how to draw anime from that influence, taking compliments and criticism hand in hand, and being professional with other fan artists.


Fanfiction Panel: Fans got together in a discussion group to talk about how to improve their idea-making process, character development, storytelling, dynamic tension, suspension of disbelief, and learning not to break too far from the original characters from the anime or manga.
How to Get That Novel Written: Bad habits and delay tactics will get you nowhere, and these fanfiction experts helped the audience with ideas on using different techniques to get the job done.  Topics included subconscious ideas, creative writing, computers vs. typewriters, staying off the addictive internet, and how to properly handle luring distractions.
