Packing in the attendees, every panel offered something to learn from, whether you were into the discussion subject or not, as shown below with a brief description of each session.  This weekend's explorations delved straight into the heart of current fandom that lies in the surging excitement of fan fiction, cosplay, collectors gatherings, as well as new and exciting anime shows, video games, and manga to focus on for the next year.

Dealing with Rejection: Panelists Fletcher, Martindale, Knowles, Oliver, and McCarthy gave the audience tips and sage advice on handling feedback from avid fanfiction readers.
 
Top 10 Rookie Mistakes: Sacrificing entertainment for the cash cow is the normal topic nowadays, and panelists were quick to knock it down and give advice on staying away from common mistakes when writing that first fanfiction.


Costuming 101: Costuming panelists Yaya and Lindze dished out tons of advice for the new and experienced cosplaying crowd with such subjects as use of sculpture molds, spray paints, wigs, body paints, liquid latex, wings and harnesses, velcro, and resources found on the Internet and in local shops.


Radio Comix: Manga has hit the Internet in a big way and panelists were quick to help out with recommendations on computer equipment, font use, user interfaces, file sizes, and the kinds of entertainment for the intended comic audiences.
Anime Fan Subculture: A Critique of Relevant Literature: Both negative and positive views can be seen from the anime fans these days.  Discussion involved topics on internet influences, American pop culture gone wrong, sexual frustration, cultural outlets, anime playing a consumerist role, and development of social contacts with other anime fans.
