The Ayashii Cosplayers's welcomeed the audience to a backstage look at Last Blade.  With wacky dance routines and sword fights, it's time to get crazy!

AGSMA, Baby Neko Twins and Studio Unmei proudly presented their glorious 2 minute reenactment of movie Escaflowne, A Girl in Gaia.  The Wing Goddess is summoned and Lord Folken has awakened the Dragon Armor... 
Additional notable presentation highlights from the show included Gallon from Darkstalkers crying foul over a mere bad-tasting teddy bear, an invasion of the Yuna Clones from Final Fantasy X, characters from Slayers passing the time with food and abusing Gourry, Puchu and Nabeshine from Excel Saga performing an Iron Chef show with Red Bull energy drink, and many more!

Congratulations to everyone who participated in the AX2002 Masquerade!
Southwest Cosplay presented for the audience viewing pleasure, a very cool singing and dancing stage performance to the tune of Spray Paint and Sweet Tarts!  With characters from Jet Set Radio Future, this was definitely an awesome way to end a wonderful Masquerade night!
 

AX2002 Masquerade presentation and costume craftsmanship efforts were awarded by Judges Darryl Hwang, Kim Lim, Tristen Citrine, and Melissa Quinn. Prizes of tapes, DVDs, wallscrolls, DVD player, and hundreds of dollars in spending cash were awarded by ADV Films, SunCoast, Atlus, Konami, Pioneer Animation, Right Stuf International, and Viz Communications.
