AFO5's weekend full of panels and discussions had a full schedule of interesting things to learn and participate in.  From industry leaders to fan functions, fans could sit in and listen to everything from computer animation to cosplay, manga development to trivia shows, and voice acting to AMVs.

Trish Ledoux and Toshi Yoshida: Working at Viz is always a rewarding experience and this dynamic duo talked about voice acting works, history about Viz Video and Animerica, staying true to the hardcore fans by not changing names in anime and manga titles, and the difficulties in licensing new titles.

Sentai: Collectors and followers of this segment talked about all the toys and cool shows regarding Power Rangers: Wild Force, Zeo Rangers, Time Force, Megazords, Predazords, comparing leaders and teams, and the ongoing debates about changing plots for the American audiences.

Super Dollfies: Continuing with the late-night Dollfie Party, proud owners of their dolls talked about the unusual look of 
the dolls and the fashions that can be applied to them, the costs of getting these high quality works, joining with fan clubs, 
inspirations from J-Rock and EGL fashions, and having fun setting them up for display and photography.

Japanese Street Fashion: Wander the streets of Harajuku or Yoyogi park and you'll find the latest EGL fashions or J-Rock inspired works.  Panelists talked about exploring resources like High Anarchy, Batsu, Bobby, My Huntress, Baby Stars Shine Bright, and much more.
Cel Painting: Always a favorite art for the casual con-goer, Steve Bennett led this year's session with acrylic cels and paints ready for action.  Cels included shows like Urusei Yatsura, Sailor Moon, and various Ironcat girls.
