Welcome to another edition of Linus Lam Network News for 2007!  This news report covers our trip to Yaoi-con 2007 for a huge weekend of anime and manga enjoyment and a whole lot more for 2007!  Held at the San Mateo Marriott Hotel in San Mateo, California over the weekend of October 26-28, 2007, Yaoi-con 2007 saw lots of attendees ready to party on with a bunch of dedicated artists, live performances, and plenty of opportunities to hang out with fellow anime and manga fans. Our exciting trip to Yaoi-con 2007 starts here!  Coverage you can count on, here at Linus Lam Network News!

Highlights: Various live programming events kept the attendees well-covered throughout the weekend. Big events included Bishie Cafe, Bishounen Bingo, Charity Auction, Saturday Night Triple-Play, Bishounen Auction, Bishounen Spanking Inferno, BJD Tea Party, Cosplay Contest, Anime Music Videos, Karaoke, and Guest panels. Panels and workshops included functions like Alternate Universe and World Building, Creating Yaoi, Fan Translations, Fan Fiction Writing, Foods Corrupted by Yaoi, Harry Potter, Kimono Dressing, Resin Bishounen, Yaoi Aesthetic, Writing Romance, Yaoi Press Industry, and lots more.
Cosplay: This year's trip to Yaoi-con saw lots of inspired costumes from numerous anime and manga characters and more! Chart-topping displays for this year included characters from Loveless, Gakuen Heaven, Final Fantasy, Ouran Host Club, Prince of Tennis, Bleach, Death Note, Trinity Blood, Gravitation, Saiyuki, and much more! Miscellaneous: From Artists Alleys to Art Shows, Anime Music Videos to casual conversations with esteemed Guests of Honor, shopping inside the Dealers Hall to participating numerous panels, you can always find something to do at Yaoi-con.
