Welcome to another edition of Linus Lam Network News for 2006!  This news report covers our trip to Yaoi-con 2006 for a huge weekend of anime and manga enjoyment and a whole lot more for 2006!  Held at the Airport Hotel in San Francisco, California over the weekend of October 20-22nd, 2006, Yaoi-con 2006 saw lots of attendees ready to party on with a bunch of dedicated artists, live performances, and plenty of opportunities to hang out with fellow anime and manga fans. Our exciting trip to Yaoi-con 2006 starts here!  Coverage you can count on, here at Linus Lam Network News!

Highlights: Various live programming events kept the attendees well-covered throughout the weekend. Big events included Swap Meet, Cafe Verfuhren, Bishounen Auction, Costume Contest, J-Rock Video-a-thon, Chibi Workshop, Anime Music Videos, Karaoke, Live Action Boys Movie Marathon, Bishounen Bingo, Bishie Pictionary, Charity Auction, BJD Tea Party, and Guest panels. Notable panels and workshops included Yaoi in Video Games, Anatomy for Artists, Prince of Tennis, Slash and Yaoi in Academia, How to Wear Kimono, Racial Bias in Slash and Yaoi, History of Yaoi, Young Fans in Yaoiland, Kingdom Hearts, Weiss Kruez, Pretty Boys on Acetate, Comic Slash, Fan Fictions, Scholarly Passions,  Favorite Yaoi Manga, Gundam Wing, and lots more.
Cosplay: This year's trip to Yaoi-con saw lots of inspired costumes from numerous anime and manga characters and more! Chart-topping displays for this year included characters from Bleach, Tsubasa, Final Fantasy, Naruto, Full Metal Alchemist, and much more! Miscellaneous: From Artists Alleys to Art Shows, Anime Music Videos to casual conversations with esteemed Guests of Honor, shopping inside the Dealers Hall to participating numerous panels, you can always find something to do at Yaoi-con.
