LLNN Coverage of Yaoi-con 2004

In a sea of anime conventions that pleased every inch of the hungry brain with abundant anime and manga, cosplay, mainstream Guests of Honor, and industry panels, there was still a gap to be filled for those yearning for more interest in yaoi-exclusive areas, and Yaoi-con 2004 most definitely filled that spot. Not to disappoint the fans, the entire weekend was packed with everything and anything related to YAOI: videos, panels, Guests of Honor, cosplay, and even stuff in the Dealer's Room. Everywhere you looked, it was all about YAOI. And that's probably why it remains to be such a special event in the hearts of all the attending members.

Yaoi Game Shows: Bingo! Bingo! Get your Bingo! Yaoi fans gathered together en mass and places their chips and bets to vie for prizes and be entertained on everything coming from yaoi-focused trivia.	Karaoke Night: For those who think yaoi isn't for them on Friday night because they gotta get their karaoke fix first, then Yaoi-con definitely was the place to be to hook up with the Karaoke Contest and get your voice out!

Bishounen Auction and Cosplay Contest: Well, what can we say. Saturday night was a smashing success for an eye-opening couple of hours of bishounen madness for the yaoi-hungry girls. The bishounen auction gathered in the highest winning bids ever. Below are highlights of the big Cosplay Contest along with some select scenes from the biggest Bishounen Auction ever.

#1 Absolutely Berserk presented a funny live singing performance mixed with comedy and sexy romance.	#3 Viko Arts presented a great dramatic performance with characters from Yami no Matsue.	#5 G-Rated presented characters from Hunter X Hunter finding themselves caught at a bishie auction at Yaoi-con.

#6 Blue Bow Space presented... words cannot even describe this, so judges gave it the "OMGWTF" judges award. haha	#7 Ambu Tachi from Naruto	#8 Gomu Gomu no Cosplay presented characters from One Piece on a whirlwind sex education course gone mad!
