to Yaoi-con 2009 for a huge weekend of anime and manga enjoyment and
a whole lot more! Held at the Marriott Hotel in San Mateo, California
over the weekend of October 30 to November 1st, Yaoi-con 2009 saw lots of attendees ready to party on with a bunch of
dedicated artists, live performances, gaming events, cosplay fun, and plenty of opportunities to hang

| Highlights: Various live programming events kept the attendees well-covered throughout the weekend. Big events included
the Cosplay Contest, Anime Music Videos, Trivia Contests, Cafe V, Swap
Meet, Charity Auction, Bishounen Auction, Bisnhounen Bingo, Iron Yaoi, and
more. Panels and workshops included functions like Comiket 101, Slashy
Pop Culture, FanFiction Writing, Foods Corrupted by Yaoi, Gundam: Gay
Since 1979, How Not to Write a Yaoi Lemon, Art of Kimono Dressing, Proper
Care and Feeding of Bishies, Styling Wigs for Cosplay, What's Your Kink?,
