The
Washington State Convention and Trade Center was a great place to start
off another newly reborn Sakura-con, always brimming with new anime fans
that yearn to watch anime, enjoy the live entertainment, hang out with
fellow fans in the Dealers Hall, and take pictures of all of the exciting
cosplayers. Inside the huge space were plenty of small shops and
dining establishments open 'til evening for the hungry attendees.
Outside were more places to choose from as well as some nearby hotels and
accommodations for future prospects. The area also featured plenty
of room for the Main Events, more panels and workshops rooms, and an
outdoor courtyard with blooming cherry blossoms. This year's host
con center was certainly a far cry from past host centers and we look
forward to the growth of Sakura-cons to come! |
