Sakura-con
2006 had a lot of extras to add to the usual list of convention
essentials. The Karaoke Lounge kept a good crowd of contestants
vying for top prizes and a chance to hear some very competitive vocal
singers dishing out the very best of their talents for the audience.
Live performances like The 404s and other musical groups kept the
attendees entertained. Video Screening rooms were available for many
who came to watch all of their favorite shows on the large screen or for
anime collectors who wanted to sample shows before they buy from the
dealers. Additional notable interests included a traditional
Japanese Tea Ceremony, Voice Acting workshops, Guest Receptions, and
numerous art contests. And just when you thought you've seen
everything, there's always more in the Art Show, Artists Alley, Gaming
rooms, and Panels and Workshops. |
