SakuraCon2004 hosted its
return of THE WIRED to nice and spacious console/PC gaming room at the
Hilton and Marriott Hotel. Sponsored by nVidia, numerous games were available for all kinds of
consoles such as Microsoft XBOX, Sony PS2, Nintendo GameCube, and Sega Dreamcast. From
first-person shooters, traditional fighting games, musical dancing games, continuous
screenings of AMVs set to dance music, and much more, THE WIRED had a
continuous line of attendees checking out the room and trying their hands at the latest and
greatest games and getting in on the big tournaments held throughout the weekend.
Featured tournaments this year included Guilty Gear XX, Soul Calibur 2, Halo 2, Capcom vs. SNK
2, Super Smash Brothers Melee, and Mario Cart Double Dash. |
