SakuraCon 2003 had a great lineup of guests for this year including: Hiroshi Nagahama (Anime Director and Designer: Revolutionary Girl Utena, Jubei-chan: Secret of the Lovely Eyepatch, Fruits Basket); Michelle Ruff (Voice Actress: Real Bout High School (Hitomi Yuuki), X TV Series (Yuzuriha Nekoi), Carried by the Wind Tsukikage Ran (Meow)); Hilary Haag (Voice Actress: Bubblegum Crisis 2040 (Nene), Excel Saga (Menchi), Gasaraki (Misuzu), Noir (Chloe), Princess Nine (Ryo), RahXephon (Megumi), and Steel Angel Kurumi (Karinka)); Fred "Piro" Gallagher (web comic artist: Megatokyo); Susumu Sakurai (video game author and convention volunteer); Yukio Kikukawa (Producer: Legend of Galactic Heroes); Hidakazu Shinamura (Character Designer: Angel Sanctuary), Yamakawa Yoshinobu (Character Designer: Digi Charat).

 Not quite Guests but just as grateful to be an anime convention celebrity, the duo behind Penny Arcade was available in the Dealers Room to sign autographed posters of their online product for their lines of webcomic fans.
