LLNN's
trip to the Cherry Blossom Festival in the heart of JapanTown found an
amazing array of interactive events and sights to see and enjoy throughout
the weekend. But what really sets the highlight of the big 2-weekend
event is the Grand Parade that included traditional kimonos, official
celebrities, large floats, and much more. The parade lasts for about
10 long blocks and for most spectators it's easily an entertaining spectacle filled with
Lion dancing, Queens and Princesses, and lots of noise-making. |
