Open
to the public, visitors to the Cherry Blossom Festival lined up to buy
some really good food provided by numerous local Japantown associations
and public services groups and organizations. Food and refreshments
included sushi rolls, onigiri rolls, curry with rice, grilled yakitori
chicken strips, ramen bowls, sweet pork sandwiches, teriyaki burgers,
chicken buns, unagi rolls, bento boxes, barbequed squid, spam musubi,
strwberry smoothies, tons of ice pops and shaved ice cones of all kinds of
fruity flavors, fried squid on a stick, yakisoba dishes, and of course,
plenty of tea. |
