Recca-con was not
without the basic essentials to every con-lovers delight. From four video screening rooms
showing the latest anime shows and Hong Kong releases to artist alley tables set up for the aspiring masterpiece
theater of manga and anime characters, there was something for everyone. Out in the
hallways, scores of tables were set up for local anime Dealers to set up shop alongside swap
meet fans, anime clubs and local chapters sold munchies to feed the hungry fans, and karaoke
was always available to the dedicated singer in you. Finally, the big gaming room had
all the best including: DDR, Para Para
Paradise, Beatmania IIDX, Taiko no Tetsujin, Guilty Gear XX, Soul Calibur 2, Mortal Kombat: Deception, DOA Ultimate, Gran Turismo 4,
Need for Speed Underground 2, Super Puzzle Fighter II, Dr. Mario, Yoshi's Cookie, and multi-player Halo 2. |
