to Otakon 2009 for a huge weekend of anime and manga enjoyment and
a whole lot more! Held at the Balitmore Convention Center in Baltimore, Maryland
over the weekend of July 17th-19th, 2009, Otakon 2009 saw lots of attendees ready to party on with a bunch of
dedicated artists, live performances, gaming events, cosplay fun, and plenty of opportunities to hang

| Highlights: Various live programming events kept the attendees well-covered throughout the weekend.

From Artists Alleys
to Art Shows, Interactive Gaming events to Video Screening rooms, Anime Music Videos to casual conversations with esteemed
Guests of Honor, shopping inside the Dealers Hall to Charity events, you can always find something to do at
Otakon. For the reader in you, the nearby Hilton hotel hosted
the Manga Library. Karaoke was always at its usual location and full
of attendees. Plenty of Video programming rooms were packed with
fans watching the latest shows or just catching up on old favorites.
And a young Otaku's Otachan room tincluded activities like Paper Koinobori, Dragon Masks, Origami, and Buttons. |
