of Linus Lam Network News for 2008! This news report covers our trip
to Ohayo-con 2008 for a huge weekend of anime and manga enjoyment and
a whole lot more for 2008! Held at the Hyatt Regency and Columbus Convention Center in Columbus, Ohio
over the weekend of January 4-6, 2008, Ohayo-con 2008 saw lots of attendees ready to party on with a bunch of
dedicated artists, live performances, and plenty of opportunities to hang
out with fellow anime and manga fans. Our exciting trip to Ohayo-con 2008

Highlights: Various live programming events kept the attendees well-covered throughout the weekend. Big events included
Anime Match Game, Anime Otaku: Name That Tune!, Anime Password, Ohayo-con
Game Show, Whose Line is it Anime?, Cosplay Contest, Anime Music Videos, Karaoke, and Guest panels.
Guests of Honor included Eyeshine, Chris Ayres, Greg Ayres, Christopher
Bevins, Johnny Young Bosch, Bob DeJesus, Emily DeJesus, Jan Scot Frazier,
Tiffany Grant, Matt Greenfield, Clarine Harp, Brittany Karbowski, Bruce
Lewis, Mike McFarland, Monica Rial, Antimere Rombinson, Rikki Simons, and
Tavisha Wolfgang-Simons. Panels and workshops included functions like
Anime Arts and Crafts, Digital Screentoning and Coloring Workshop, Art of
Drawing, Artists Alley Etiquette, Portfolio Tips and Tricks, Character
Design, Business of Webcomics, Obi Tying Workshop, Art of Kimono Dressing,
Japanese Street Fashion, Tarot and Occult in Anime, Yaoi Roundtable,
Visual Kei and J-Rock, and lots more. |

Cosplay:
This year's trip to Ohayo-con
saw lots of inspired costumes from numerous anime and manga characters and more! Chart-topping displays for this year included characters from
Phoenix Wright, BeatMania, Gurren Lagann, Ouran Host Club, Final Fantasy, Hellsing, Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles, Sailor Moon, and much more!
