Welcome to another edition of Linus Lam Network News for 2008!  This news report covers our trip to Nan Desu Kan 2008 for a huge weekend of anime and manga enjoyment and a whole lot more for 2008!  Held at the Marriott at the Denver Tech Center in Denver, Colorado over the weekend of September 12-14th, 2008, Nan Desu Kan 2008 saw lots of attendees ready to party on with a bunch of dedicated artists, live performances, and plenty of opportunities to hang out with fellow anime and manga fans. Our exciting trip to Nan Desu Kan 2008 starts here!  Coverage you can count on, here at Linus Lam Network News!

Highlights: Various live programming events kept the attendees well-covered throughout the weekend.  Guests of Honor included Noriko Hidaka, Yuji Mitsuya, Steve Bennett, Kara Edwards, Caitlin Glass, Vic Mignogna, Chris Patton, Wendy Powell, Monica Rial, Jan Scott-Frazier, The Slants, Steve Yun, Tommy Yune, ArtplayMix, Kaz Taneka and Hiroko Takeyana, and Robert and Emily DeJesus.  Main events included Anime Music Videos, Anime Wheel of Fortune, Iron J-Rock Cosplay, Japanese Tea Ceremony, Masquerade Cosplay Contest, and more.  Panels and workshops included functions like 24-hour Comic Challenge, ADR Script Adaptation, Advanced Cosplay Makeup, Airbrush Demonstrations, AMV Editing, Denver Costume and Cosplay Society, Game Turkeys, History of Comics, History of Martial Arts, How to be a Voice Actor, Japanese Cooking, Robot Rumble, Macross 25 Years and Beyond, Making Comics on the Computer, Robotech Collectors, Sera Myu, Translating Manga and Anime, Wigs 101, Webcomics, and much more.
Cosplay: This year's trip to Nan Desu Kan saw lots of inspired costumes from numerous anime and manga characters and more! Chart-topping displays for this year included characters from Bleach, Tsubasa, Final Fantasy, Naruto, Full Metal Alchemist, and much more!
