Welcome to another edition of Linus Lam Network News for 2011!  This news report covers our trip to Momo-con 2011 for a huge weekend of anime and manga enjoyment and a whole lot more!  Held at the Georgia Tech University in Atlanta, Georgia over the weekend of March 12-13th, Momo-con 2011 saw lots of attendees ready to party on with a bunch of dedicated artists, live performances, gaming events, cosplay fun, and plenty of opportunities to hang out with fellow anime and manga fans. Our exciting trip to Momo-con 2011 starts here!  Coverage you can count on, here at Linus Lam Network News!

Highlights: Various live programming events kept the attendees well-covered throughout the weekend. Guests of Honor included Gina Biggs, Kittyhawk, Dr. Brent Allison, Jennie Breeden, Overlord Academy, Bobby Nash, Sean Taylor, Bill Holbrook, Honeydew Syndrome, Lysa "Zen" Shin, Bill Winans, Harrison Krix, Catherine Jones, Ana Aesthetic, Tham/Samu-chan, Meru, Yaya Han, Steven Massey, Bryan Mon, Sketch MacQuinor, Bob and Carl: Sci-Fi Janitors, Giraf Network, Kelly Adams, Extraordinary Contraptions, and Seraphina.  Main events included Anime Music Videos, Costume Contest, and Karoke.  Panels and workshops included Steampunk Roundtable, Webcomics, Transforming Anime and Manga into Live Action, Makeup for Cosplay, Cosplay 101, Podcasting, Anime Clubs, Action Castle, Mystery Anime Theater 3000, Transformers, Cosplay Photography, Cat Ears and Tails, RPGs, Tips and Tricks of Cosplay, Tokukatsu, Steampunk Costuming, Kimono 101, Otaku Bellydance, Karaoke, Asian Pop, Advanced Armor Making, Cosplay Groups, Blowing Up the World, Working in Animation, Alternate Body Types Cosplay, Sailor Moon, Wigs, Cosplay Construction Breakdown, Writing for Comics, Para Para, ESP, Japanese Street Fashion, Extraordinary Contraptions, and more.
Cosplay: This year's trip to Momo-con saw lots of inspired costumes from numerous anime and manga characters and more! Chart-topping displays for this year included characters from Hetalia, Panty and Stocking, Black Butler, Bleach, Avatar, Final Fantasy, Soul Eater, Persona 3, Kingdom Hearts, D Gray Man, and much more!
