Events were held in the main ballroom and featured plenty of big screen
videos, guest panels, Anime Music Videos, karaoke excitement, costume
contests, and much more. Guests of HOnor for this year's
Kawaii-kon included: Yoko Ishida (performer, Para Para), S. Kai Bovaird (Cause & F(X) pictures), Robert and Emily DeJesus (Studio Capsule), Jin Kobayashi (artist, "School Rumble"), Vic Mignogna (voice actor, Full metal Alchemist, Full Metal Panic, Dragonball Z), Monica Rial (voice actress, Azumanga Daioh, Burst Angel, Chrono Crusade), Stan Sakai (artist, Usagi Yojimbo), Sean Schemmel (voice actor, Dragonball Z, Yugioh, Shaman King), Jennifer Sekiguchi (voice actress, FLCL, Naruto, Tenjo Tenge), Michael Sinterniklaas (voice actor and director, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, The Venture Brothers, Urusei Yatsura), and David Williams (ADR Director, Angelic Layer, Pretear, Dirty
Pair). Many of the Guests held their own very exciting panels and
workshops and stayed around the halls to sign numerous autographs for the
fans throughout the busy weekend. |

Live Performances:
Attendees were treated with a great performance by
Yoko Ishida and her lively troupe of fellow dancers all dancing to various
Para Para-style anime music tunes. Additional main events also
included Anime Music Videos, Buma's Official Buti-Shake Saturday Night
Dance, Full metal Alchemist movie premiere, Naruto Fan Film premiere, and
of course who can forget the big Cosplay Contest that always brings in the
big crowds. Various costumes in the Cosplay Contest included Kasumi
from Dead or Alive, Lulu from Final Fantasy X, G-Havoc from Full Metal
Panic, Squall and Rinoa from FF8, Shiku from Rozen Maiden, Sango from
Inuyasha, Ishida from Bleach, L from Death note, Hiro and Jessica from
Dragonquest 8, Jin from Tekken 5, Adora from Magna Carta, Jungo from One
Piece, Zetsa from Naruto, Christi from Dead or Alive 4, Chii from Chobits,
Treize from Gundam Wing, Sasuke from Naruto, Haruko from FLCL, Elsaka from
Azumanga Daioh, and many more.
