Just when you think you've seen it all, there was plenty still left to see and enjoy during Katsucon 8 weekend.  After all, how many days out of the year can you find yourself wrapped up in the excitement with thousands of fellow anime fans all yearning to join in the party entertainment and see eye to eye with you on the same level of anime fandom?  From guest celebrities to fan groups, the following is a snapshot of some of the anime convention activities you might've overlooked as the weekend progressed.

The Spirit of Masquerade: No matter how much you think it might go away, fans keep coming back in droves as they steadfastedly lined up to reserve their good seat in the huge Ballroom.  LLNN coverage on the Katsucon 8 Masquerade event can be found in Masquerade section.
Lost but Not Forgotten: Katsucon 8 Info Desk made sure most fans could find their way about the hotel's interesting maze of ballrooms and function spaces that held the live programming rooms and big events.  And yes, you can believe the hype; you did NOT want to miss a minute of the weekend action!
 
Armies of Darkness: The table-top RPG night commences as groups gather around the battleground for a look upon the elements of war and fantasy.  Let the battles begin!
What the heck is LARP?:  It's an acronym for Live Action Role Playing.  RPG is not just for the table-top arena as these sessions engage in the more vicarious character-driven scenarios.
 
Guest Autographs: Lisa Ortiz dutifully signs for all her beloved fans in a day and age when American voice actors and actresses can really enjoy the spotlight of big celebrity status within the hot and exciting anime convention circuit.
Weekend Addiction: Just when you think it's over and you start to get depressed that you'll never see your friends until next year... another anime convention pops up!  The east coast has plenty to choose from, each with its own unique theme and round-up of guests and local anime fandom.
