This
year's Katsucon 12 found a new home in a very luxurious and exquisite Omni
Shoreham Hotel and Convention Center located about 15 minutes taxi drive
away from the Reagan National Airport. Parking is most definitely
hard to find and expensive if you find any at all, but that didn't stop
most attendees from deciding that this weekend they definitely needed
their anime con fix for February. The hotel itself is quite large
with plenty of nooks and crannies to sit back and relax, while other
spaces probably wouldn't work for concert or events traffic. At any rate,
options to eat are of the usual variety for such a large hotel, including
coffee bars, restaurants, and numerous choices for pizza delivery and
otherwise. |
