of Linus Lam Network News for 2011! This news report covers our trip
to Fanime-Con 2011 for a huge weekend of anime and manga enjoyment and
a whole lot more! Held at the San Jose Convention Center in San Jose, California
over the weekend of May 27-30, Fanime-Con 2011 saw lots of attendees ready to party on with a bunch of
dedicated artists, live performances, gaming events, cosplay fun, and plenty of opportunities to hang
out with fellow anime and manga fans. Our exciting trip to Fanime-Con

| Highlights: Various live programming events kept the attendees well-covered throughout the weekend.
Guests of Honor included Tohru Furuya, Ryusuke Hamamoto, Gashicon, Seiji
Mizushima, Takahiro Yoshimatsu, Fumio Iida, Mamoru Yokota, Ric Meyers,
Gilles Poitras, Halko Momoi, Hiroyuki Yamaga, Flow, and Yuya
Matsushita. Big events included Autograph sessions, Charity Auction,
Rum Party, Fanimaid Cafe, Anime Music Videos, Stage Zero Live
Performances, Game Shows, Cosplay Contests, Swap Meet, Karaoke Contests,
Dance Nights, and much more. Panels and workshops included functions like
