FanimeCon 2005 had a host of panels, discussion groups, classroom gatherings, industry sessions, and Guest Q&As to attend to throughout the weekend. Whether you were into voice acting or just wanted to chit chat with your favorite fan artists, the panels and discussions were a great way to educate yourself and see all the work that happens in the anime fan and industry communities.

Koala Klub: Steve Bennett is revived once again, and his new startup Koala Klub has him focused on his core passions.  Topics involved Steve's love for publishing and writing, artistic lessons, focusing on more creative projects, the choice of koalas as his new mascot and much more.

Webcomics: It's no surprise that webcomics have fueled the growth of artists in the online manga community and veterans talked about their latest endeavors as well as giving lessons on how to build and manage your own webcomic.  Topics included publicity, making memorable characters, working hard with little sleep, sticking to a good story, and much more.

Clamp: Clamp, the 4 women wonder group of international manga fame and fortune, is brought to the limelight in this panel as experts show the audience the highlights of their works, both in anime and manga.  Clamp is best known for X, Tokyo Babylon, Card Captor Sakura, RG Veda, Magic Knights Rayearth, Miyuki-chan in Wonderland, and much more.
How to Talk to Girls: OK, so you can't just come to a con and expect to leave with a date!  But take it from this panel, guys, you can at least learn a few pointers on social skills.  Topics included Bennett Wisdom, asking honest questions, eye contact, don't be creepy, good social experience, being able to LISTEN, keeping your personal criticisms at bay, and being generally outgoing.
