This year's FanimeCon
continues its stay at its bigger convention center with more places to hold all those events
that fans crave. With not even the entire capacity of the convention center being used,
it did give a glimpse into the future of just how much bigger and better the con will be in
2006 and beyond. Many of the Live Programming panels and workshops, Dealers Hall, and
Artists Alley were located in the San Jose McEnrey Convention Center. Video rooms, Art
Show and Karaoke and other smaller functions were held in the adjacent Marriott Hotel.
Large shows like the concerts and Der Cosplay costume contest night were held in the Civic
Auditorium located just across the street. |
