Fanime Con 2002 had
something for everyone and this year was no exception with more style and panache than ever
before. Opening Ceremonies gathered attention around the packed Guests of Honor list and
Wushu troupe. Attendees to the Karaoke Contest saw a completely packed room full of
excited participants. The Music Video Contest continued to gather more and more entries
as this field grows with more capable technologies for fans to take advantage of digital
media. Masquerade is always the most popular weekend highlight of the year. And
for those with wandering eyes, the Speed Racer Party upstairs was definitely an eye-opening opportunity
for fans of this show to sit in and reminisce about the good 'ol days of anime gone wild. |

attend the Masquerade this year because of conflicting dates with Sakura Con 2002 up in
Seattle Washington, the results of this major event were captured from the very helpful
