Good Morning, Atlanta!
DragonCon arrived in full force this year, with attendees and celebrities coming from around
the globe to invade the city. And invade it did with the second annual DragonCon Parade.
With Hollywood celebrities like Lou Ferrigno and George Takei riding in style, the costume and
renaissance festival groups brought up their banners and swarmed the streets in style in a
huge display of spirit for science fiction and fantasy. Groups consisted of characters
from G.I.Joe, Star Wars, Marvel/DC Comics, Star Trek, Anime, Ghostbusters, Renaissance
Pleasure Faires, and much more! LLNN managed to capture shots of most of the groups and
highlights of the parade en route from downtown Atlanta towards the Marriot Marquis Hotel
where DragonCon was situated. |
