Shibuya is the most
popular fashion and consumer electronics shopping in Tokyo, and underneath all the glamour and
glitz, there lies even more glamour and glitz. 109 Shibuya, the hallmark cylindrical
building on the corner is packed with a mixture of the trendiest and oddest ladies fashions
inspired by fashion extremities from around the world. Additional interests to be
observed were the constant rolling billboards for the latest products, a popular meeting place
which features the statue of Hachikou a faithful dog who waited for his master even after his
death back in 1925, and of course, the multitudes of smaller shopping stores, fancy
restaurants, and posh cafes overlooking the busy intersections. |
