The main attractions of
Comic Market itself are, of course, the awe-inspiring doujinshi halls, which have seen steady
increase in population by the thousands along the years. Whether professional, amateur,
or mere beginner, everyone had nearly equal stake of table space to sell their mangas, and the
really popular artists had organized lines set up by the staff for buyers to line up, get an
autograph, and walk away happy. You could say this was like an Artist Alley in America
multiplied by 1000 times. Everyone is constantly drawing, selling their fan mangas,
chatting with other artists about styles and hot trends to incorporate into stories, and
buying up bags of other favorite artists works. |

A doujinshi hall like no
other: This is a small portion
of the West Hall, meaning what you see here is only a mere 15% of the entire doujinshi floor! And that's not including the rest of the halls with cosplay, exhibits, and autograph areas. |
