Welcome to another edition of Linus Lam Network News for 2012!  This news report covers our trip to Anime Boston 2012 for a huge weekend of anime and manga enjoyment and a whole lot more!  Held at the Boston Sheraton Hotel and Hynes Convention Center in Boston, Massachusetts over the weekend of April 6-8, Anime Boston 2012 saw lots of attendees ready to party on with a bunch of dedicated artists, live performances, gaming events, cosplay fun, and plenty of opportunities to hang out with fellow anime and manga fans. Our exciting trip to Anime Boston 2012 starts here!  Coverage you can count on, here at Linus Lam Network News!

Highlights: Various live programming events kept the attendees well-covered throughout the weekend. Guests of Honor included Haruko Momoi, Kanako Ito, MINT NeKO, Shotaro Kaizuka, Tsutomu Narita, Yoshitaka Suzuki, Takamasa Sakurai, Christopher Ayres, Greg Ayres, Caitlin Glass, Carli Mosier, Keith Silverstein, MIchael Sinterniklaas, Chris Smith, Karen Strassman, Kirk Thornton, and Tom Wayland. Panels and Workshops included Anime Con Survival, Anime Fans in Anime, Asian Music Fusion, Anime Music Videos 101, Anime Clubs, Webcomic Roundtable, Crossplay Tips and Tricks, Building Gundams, Cosplay Court Case, Culinary Manga, Building Mecha Model Kits, Cosplay on a Dime, basic World Building, Designing Mecha for Games, Evangelion Deconstructed, Evolution of Giant Robot, Great Anime Openings, Getting Yourself to Japan, Dubs That Time Forgot, Lolita Fashion, Making PLushie Weapons, How to Run a Panel, Metal Gear Science, Scripting a Comic Page, Post-Apocalyptic Anime and Manga, Plushie Workshop, Parent's Guide to Anime Conventions, Rapid Prototyping and Cosplay, Korean Animation, Touhou Project, Taiko Japanese Drumming, Romantic Anime, Webcomics 101, and much more.

Cosplay: This year's trip to Anime Boston saw lots of inspired costumes from numerous anime and manga characters and more! Chart-topping displays for this year included characters from Magika Madoka, Touhou Project, Tiger and Bunny, Final Fantasy, Vocaloid, Panty and Stocking, Hetalia, Soul Eater, Bleach, Pokemon, Black Butler, and much more!
