of Linus Lam Network News for 2011! This news report covers our trip
to Anime USA 2011 for a huge weekend of anime and manga enjoyment and
a whole lot more! Held at the Hyatt Regency Crystal City Hotel in Arlington, Virginia
over the weekend of November 18-20, Anime USA 2011 saw lots of attendees ready to party on with a bunch of
dedicated artists, live performances, gaming events, cosplay fun, and plenty of opportunities to hang

| Highlights: Various live programming events kept the attendees well-covered throughout the weekend.
Guests of Honor included Matenrou Opera, BLOOD, Eien Strife, DJ Luminal,
DJ Speed Demon, DJ SiSen, Mighty Mike Saga, Wendee Lee, Tony Oliver, Trina
Nishamura, Monica Rial, J. Michael Tatum, Michael Solusod, Uncle Yo,
Shadowbinders, Studio Nasu, Dragon's Den Unlimited, Kevin Bolk, Mecha
Software, Onezumi, Tamuran, Tina "Pork Buns" Lam, and Krys
"Ambrosia" Lewis. Big events included Cosplay Contest, Anime Music Videos,
Anime Trivia Contests, Karaoke, and Guest panels. Panels and workshops included functions like
Gaia Online, Voice Auditions, Politics of Hayao Miyazaki, Cosplay props,
Mythology and Pokemon, Yukata Workshop, Fanfictions, Cosplay Makeup, Con
