Welcome to another edition of Linus Lam Network News for 2010!  This news report covers our trip to Anime USA 2010 for a huge weekend of anime and manga enjoyment and a whole lot more!  Held at the Hyatt Crystal City Hotel in Arlington, Virginia over the weekend of November 12th-14th, Anime USA 2010 saw lots of attendees ready to party on with a bunch of dedicated artists, live performances, gaming events, cosplay fun, and plenty of opportunities to hang out with fellow anime and manga fans. Our exciting trip to Anime USA 2010 starts here!  Coverage you can count on, here at Linus Lam Network News!

Highlights: Various live programming events kept the attendees well-covered throughout the weekend. Guests of Honor included 12012, Echostream, The Clockwork Dolls, Cristina Vee, Cupcake Cosplay, Yaya Han, DJ Luminal, DJ Speed Demon, Takuya Angel, Draconia Chronicles, Heidi Arnhold, Meghan Murphy, Kevin Bolk, Erika Weatherbee, Monica Gallagher, Steve Napierski, Phillipa Ballantine, Tee Morris, Dave Lister, Christopher Sabat, Patrick Seitz, Mary Elizabeth McGlynn, and Brina Palencia. Panels and Workshops included Old School AMVs, Cosplay Photography, Crime Fiction in Anime, Guide to Self-Publishing, Cosplay 101, Shonen Show-Off, International Cosplay, Film-making for Cosplayers, Fullmetal Podcast, Coming out of the Nerd Closet, Basics of Bento, Girls Versions are Cooler, Anime/Manga Japanese 101, Princess Poofy Dress, Building RPG Worlds, Ouran Host Club Party, Historical Costuming for Cosplay, Fanfiction vs. Original, Con Horror Stories, Psychology and Anime, Dance in Anime Culture, Surviving a Mecha Attack, Character Creation, Science of Anime, Brief History of Anime, Webcomics, Anime Clubs, Cosplay Wigs 101, and much more. 

Cosplay: This year's trip to Anime USA saw lots of inspired costumes from numerous anime and manga characters and more! Chart-topping displays for this year included characters from Neon Genesis Evangelion, Magna Carta, Bleach, Vocaloid, Basara, Final Fantasy, Pandora Hearts, Pokemon, Dragonball Z, Black Butler, and much more!
