Carl Macek: 20 Years in
Animation: Well known for his
involvement in numerous anime prjects for the US market, Carl Macek talked about the
difficulties of dubbing and subbing jobs, timing for the actors, keeping focused on the
basic dialogue but not getting too deep that it overwhelms the viewer, and balancing anime
production between
the true anime fans and the much bigger mainstream audiences.

Yuriko Fuchizaki presented the voice panel track along with Mr. Nimiya and Mr. Murasaki.
Topics included sound engineering, scripting, and special highlights included Miss
Fuchizaki's live voiceovers for several scenes of Sakura Taisen.
