Anime Overdose 2004 offered an exciting variety of panels featuring many esteemed Guests of Honor, noted fans, and representatives from the domestic anime industry all heading healthy discussions on various exciting anime and manga-related topics ranging from new shows, fan activities, historical perspectives, and other forms of fan entertainment lasting throughout the weekend. Packed full of attendees, every single panel or activity offered something to learn from. If only school or work meetings were this stimulating.

Inside the Japanese Video Games: Games developer Saki Nimiya and sound engineer Hirofumi Murasaki spoke about their experiences with acquiring the right voice actors, enhancing the quality of sound in new games, improving localization for the Japanese market, and dealing with translation of voices.	PMBQ Studios Tea Club: Fans of the well-known webcomic listened in on updates and information about the possible print runs with local print publishers for at least five volumes, new avenues into T-shirt designs, PMBQ's experience with working on X-Men backgrounds, and much more.

Carl Macek: 20 Years in Animation: Well known for his involvement in numerous anime prjects for the US market, Carl Macek talked about the difficulties of dubbing and subbing jobs, timing for the actors, keeping focused on the basic dialogue but not getting too deep that it overwhelms the viewer, and balancing anime production between the true anime fans and the much bigger mainstream audiences.	Japanese Voice Acting and Recording: Voice actress for Li Koran in Sakura Taisen, Yuriko Fuchizaki presented the voice panel track along with Mr. Nimiya and Mr. Murasaki. Topics included sound engineering, scripting, and special highlights included Miss Fuchizaki's live voiceovers for several scenes of Sakura Taisen.

Duel Monsters 101: Think you got what it takes to beat a Monster deck of cards with mere Magic? A few folks gathered together to do just that as they reviewed the latest strategies and combos to learn and help gain skills in YuGiOh classes.
