of Linus Lam Network News for 2007! This news report covers our trip
to Anime LA 2007 for a huge weekend of anime and manga enjoyment and
a whole lot more for 2007! Held at the Airtel Plaza Hotel in Van Nuys, California
over the weekend of January 26-28th, 2007, Anime LA 2007 saw lots of attendees ready to party on with a bunch of
dedicated artists, live performances, and plenty of opportunities to hang

| Highlights: Various live programming events kept the attendees well-covered throughout the weekend.
Guests of Honor included Svetlana Chamakova, author of Dramacon,
Toastmaster Tadoa Tomomatsu, and J. Dee DuPuy, creator of OniKimono:
Detectives of the Orient. Big events included Cosplay Contest, Anime Music Videos,
Rum Party, Scavenger Hunt, Gothic Mad Tea Party, Karaoke, and Guest panels. Panels and workshops included functions like
Live Commentary with Kyle Herbert, Creating a Successful WebComic, What is
Manga?, Origami Workshop, How to Crossplay, Naruto vs. Full Metal, and lots more. |

This year's trip to Anime LA
saw lots of inspired costumes from numerous anime and manga characters and more! Chart-topping displays for this year included characters from Bleach, Tsubasa, Final Fantasy, Naruto,
