For its first year in
the anime convention arena, Anime LA held its own in offering something for everyone over the
three-day weekend. With a speedy registration desk and neat little collectible badge
ribbons, staff members put a little bit of fun into the general attendance. Additional
convention activities included two nights of crazy dances, a Scavenger Hunt, lots of karaoke, a cool Cosplay
Repair Depot where cosplayers could come in and get assistance and reserve a free sewing
station to help repair frazzled or broken cosplay parts, and of course a chance to chat up
close and personal with some of the cool Guests of Honor and attending professionals from the
anime and voice acting industry. |
