The inaugural Anime
Destiny 2004 was held in the Life Sciences building on the University of California Berkeley
campus which is also home base to one of the most famous anime clubs in the nation: the UC
Berkeley Alpha Chapter anime club, which for many years recruited fans to start up Anime Con
91, Anime Expo 92-2005, Anime America, Fanime, and joined forces with other college clubs
around the country to start their cons as well. Hence, the appropriate title of
"Destiny"! |
