For a few bucks and just
one day, Anime Destiny was set to deliver a busy weekend sure to keep the attendees
entertained. Video rooms were set up with lots of current shows. Anime music
videos were shown in another and an AMV contest was also held for the main events. Karaoke was set up for the practicing folks as well as
giving many a chance to win prizes. The BearCade was the place to be for gaming fanatics
and had everything including Soul Calibur 2, Capcom vs. SNK 2, Street Fighter Third Strike, Marvel vs. Capcom 2, Tekken 4, and Guilty Gear XX. If you had to ask what versions for games were
offered, well, you already know that most colleges always stock the latest and greatest for
their customers! Additional features also included a Manga Reading room, Tabletop
gaming, and an overall casual laid-back atmosphere to catch up on the anime convention fandom. |
