of Linus Lam Network News for 2008! This news report covers our trip
to Anime Boston 2008 for a huge weekend of anime and manga enjoyment and
a whole lot more for 2008! Held at the Hynes Convention Center in Boston, Massachusetts
over the weekend of March 21-23rd, 2008, Anime Boston 2008 saw lots of attendees ready to party on with a bunch of
dedicated artists, live performances, and plenty of opportunities to hang
out with fellow anime and manga fans. Our exciting trip to Anime Boston

| Highlights: Various live programming events kept the attendees well-covered throughout the weekend. Big events included
Anime Music Video Contest, AMV Hentai Extravaganza, Charity Auction, Masquerade, Karaoke, Cosplay Human Chess, The Cerulean Ball, Anime Unscripted, Iron Cosplay, Anime dating Game, and Anime Trivia Contests.
Panels and workshops included 1970's Shoujo Manga, AMV 101, Anime in Black and White, Bad Anime, Cosplay Court Case, Digital Anime Production, Digital Toning for Comics, Extreme Geek, Fanfiction, Final Fantasy and Philosophy, Gaia Online, Guerilla Sewing, How to parapara, J-Rock Through the Ages, Life Drawing for Anime Artists, Making Jewelry, Making Plushie Weapons, Skit Help 101, Chibi Project, Totally Subversive Toons, WebComics, and much more.
Concert Guests included the Pillows, Luv and Response, and Tokyo
Pinsalocks. American Guests included Christopher Ayres, Greg Ayres, Colleen Clinkenbeard, Aaron Dismuke, Todd Haberkorn, Monica Rial, Michael Sinterniklaas, Brad Swaile, Tom Wayland, David Williams, Studio Capsule, and MC Frontlot. |

This year's trip to Anime Boston
saw lots of inspired costumes from numerous anime and manga characters and more! Chart-topping displays for this year included characters from
