Ani-Magic 2002 had more
main events attractions designed for cosplay and karaoke on stage and saw a big attendance
record for this growing interest. Cosplay groups and individuals from all over the
United States were able to get together well in advance and plan a spectacular stage review
and performance across two nights. And afterwards, fans could kick back and celebrate
with the Nihon Nights in the courtyard. |

Nihon
Nights Festival: Ani-Magic 2002 carried on the tradition of the Japanese nighttime dinner
reception, decorated with Japanese paper lanterns and lighted pathways, dinner serving
California, Sashimi, and Tekkamaki sushi rolls, and lots of fans given the opportunity to
chat one-on-one with their favorite Guests of Honor and fellow Ani-Magic attendees. |

Cosplay
Under the Stars: With lots of great walk-on displays, singing and dancing performances, Ani-Magic
2002 enjoyed a fabulous hour full of amazing entries of characters from the following shows:
Linna Inverse from Slayers, Naru from Love Hina, Hikaru from Angelic Layer, Yuna from Final
Fantasy X, Card Captor Sakura, King of Fighters, Escaflowne Girl from Gaia, Naruto, Samurai
Jack, Gravitation, Sailor Moon Stars, One-Piece, Digi Charat, Gundam Wing Endless Waltz,
Rock Howard from Mark of the Wolves, Tenchi Muyou, Rikku from Final Fantasy X, Chii from
Chobits, Sailor Moon, Ojamajo Doremi, Soul Caliber, Rurouni Kenshin, Giant Robo, Digimon,
