Plenty
of outdoor and indoor activities kept the fans going for Ani-Jam
2006. Most functions included gaming, concerts, contests, video
rooms, Kendo fighting techniques, and more. Guests of Honor included Kristine Sa, Fred Perry, World of Anime, Stephanie Yanez, Random Ninjas, Toshi Yoshida, Akai Sky, Quarter Circle Jab, Spike Spencer, Che Gilson, cat, and Edward.
Gaming included popular titles like Street Fighter 3, Tekken 5, Marvel vs Capcom 2, Mario Kart: Double Dash, Super Smash Brothers Melee, Soul Calibur 2, Halo 2, Dance Dance Revolution, Guilty Gear X2, CCG Yu-Gi-Oh Tournament, and CCG Naruto Tournament.
Evening events topped off the night with more big concerts form Kristine
Sa, Akai Sky, Stephanie Yanez, and of course the all-famous cosplay
contest. Since the first Ani-Jam in 2003, it looks like this year's
much-needed infusion of anime into the Fresno area left fans wanting more,
so we look forward to see what Ani-Jam 2007 will deliver! |
