Macross panel hosted by Egan Loo who provides attendees with a timeline and detailed introspective into the tv series and movie that created a large devoted fan following.
Above and below: attendees wishing to show off their vocal skills and compete in the karaoke contest did so without shame!  Here we see the growing crowds of participants and curious onlookers as well as the winners (lower right) proudly posing with their prizes.
Above and below: held in another section of the hotel, fans gathered to a more relaxing concert held by Cal-Animage's members of the band "5XL" who played well into the wee hours of the night.  Band members are: Galewolf on the bass, Chico-san on the drums, Hamusutaa on the keyboards, Hokuhoku on the guitar and lead vocal, and Meowa as guest female vocal.  The band name "5XL" sprung from an observation of some rare convention attendees who are rather... portly.
